A collaboration between myself and Dan vi Nguyen. We are both members of www.topcatholicsongs.com. This chant is based on the messages of Christ to Sister Faustina. The words in her diary have inspired Divine Mercy devotions in the Catholic Church. This is a second version with dulcimer added and some slight changes to the melody.
lyrics
For the Love of Humanity
CHORUS
I have seen water and blood
flowing out from the heart of Christ.
Blessing my brothers and sisters
for all generations.
VERSE
A message from Christ to Sister Faustina
for the love of humanity:
Christ wants to illuminate the way for us
and draw every soul to his heart.
His image is a fountain of mercy
Inspiring us to say, "Jesus, I trust in You."
VERSE
A message from Christ to Sister Faustina
for the love of humanity:
Christ shows himself to every soul.
His heart is a beacon of hope.
Red light is the blood of his sacrifice,
White water is the Holy Spirit.
VERSE
A message from Christ to Sister Faustina
for the love of humanity:
Christ saves those who come to him for mercy.
To the sinner shows the path to salvation.
Upon his heart is the pattern for humanity:
You must radiate love to one another.
